Mission Statement
Introduction
Established in 1992, the Clinical Services in Psychopharmacology (CSP) program provides independent medication reviews of all psychotropic medication consent requests for youth in care of the state of Illinois. Our goal is to improve the safety and effectiveness of pharmacotherapy by using evidence-based research to inform our consultation on psychotropic medication regimens for youth in IL DCFS care. We strive to deliver comprehensive and responsive service for youth in care via our partnership with DCFS, clinicians, and youth caretakers.
